The Mason

The Mason is a large-scale multifamily residential development located in Everett, Massachusetts. The project comprises two six-story buildings totaling over 900,000 square feet and includes 650 residential units. Developed on a former industrial site, the design leverages the expansive footprint to create a high-density residential community with a strong internal organization and active public edges.

Each building is arranged around a central open-air courtyard that serves as a communal space, enhancing resident interaction and access to daylight and landscape. A comprehensive suite of amenities supports a wide range of lifestyles, including coworking spaces, fitness centers, clubhouses, and recreational features such as golf simulators. Outdoor amenities include swimming pools, grilling stations, and lounge areas integrated into the courtyard landscape.

Structured parking is housed within two multi-level garages, ventilated through open façades and lined on three sides with residential units to maintain a continuous urban fabric. At the street level, ground floor retail along Vale Street activates the public realm, hosting local businesses and outdoor café seating along a landscaped sidewalk.
